When you work a lot, its very important to regularly unwind, chill out and recharge yourself. Take it easy onto yourself, and then you can go into intensity-mode again. My question to you today is: why do you not prospect enough? Why do you not prospect every day for one full hour? Now first let us clarify what is a prospect?
A prospect is someone, who has a prospective view on something. Your prospect has a view on getting a great product into his life through you. He even has a view on a business opportunity for his life through you. By dealing with prospects, by connecting with them, by contacting them, by inviting them and then presenting to them, you might help him solve a major problem that he or she has in their life. You are about to really help to improve the life of your prospect.
So what is holding you back? Why are you not doing it enough?
1. Distractions. We all have many things to do. And often, those “many things” seem to be the most important thing. And then, at the end of the day you find out: “Oh my god, I didn’t prospect, O didn’t contact new people, I didnt invite new people, I didnt present to new people”.
Thats why you should make prospecting one of the top three tasks of your daily life. Make it a fixture on your agenda. Other things you can do later. Prospecting is one of the things you shall always do and you must always do.
2. Fear of rejection. Here the book “Go for No” has done a great job to help you to turn around your psychological set up. This book teaches you, how to go for no’s, how to go for 10 oder 20 no’s a day can be a great thing.
3. Insecurity. You might be to insecure.
There a three kinds of insecurities: 1. Is the product really that good? 2. Can I bother people with Network Marketing? 3. might be an insecurity about yourself.
If your product has helped other people before, if it has improved the life of someone bevore, it proves it works. It means the product does what it is supposed to do, and there is no reason for you to be insecure about it.
How strange is Network Marketing, and can you bother people with it? Well, if you look at the last 50 Years, many people have become millionaires and multi-millionaires with Network Marketing. This is more than in any other business area. And if you ask those people, who didn’t make it professionally in Network Marketing, they will tell you, that they have learned a lot.
Are you insecure about yourself? Many have made it in Network Marketing. Many people with less good or helpful qualities. Write down a list of at least 20 positive qualities and when ever you get insecure, go back and read through them.
Actionsteps:
1. No more distractions, put prospecting first.
2. No more fear of rejection, go for no.
3. Don’t be insecure about the product. It has already improved thousands of live, it has proven itself.
4. Don’t be insecure about Network Marketing. It has already produced great part time income and great full time income for many people. It has even produced millionaires and multi-millionaires. And even for people who didn’t experience a lot of success, it is a great personality development school.
5. Don’t be insecure about yourself. Writ this list with the 20 good qualities you find in yourself. And whenever you get insecure about yourself, focus on one or more of those qualities.
