How to motivate people? Why have masterminds?
A real mastermind has usually between 12 to 20 people. Masterminds are a group of highly motivated people, who hold each other accountable.
Dan said something very interesting about this: only 1% of people want to be hold accountable, they love it and they do everything to optimize their performance and implement whatever they have learned. The ydo everything to learn whatever it is they need to learn.
The next 4% are people who don’t like to be hold accountable, but they know that it helps them. They know that they should be held accountable if they want to progress.
The next 15% are the so called “flexible acountability” people. These are people who choose some fields where they are held accountable, but also choose fields where they are not.
80% of people don’t want to be hold accountable at all. They just want to do their own thing. They don’t even understand why accountability could help them to go forward and make progress.
What does that mean?
Now it gets really interesting. The 1% are also the very rich people. The 4% are the rich people. The 15% are the good income earners, aand the 80% are the lower income earners.
So how much you let yourself be hold accountable says a lot about the income and success you achieve.
